The goal of this lesson is to give you the skills to make stronger melodies in your solos using Triads. As you probably already know, triads are strong melodies and are at the core of pretty much all famous melodies regardless of style. You can start finding triads to use in your solos and get more sounds to choose from over chords. This lesson will help you develop that and add triads to your vocabulary.
The exercises and examples will help you:
- Learn basic technical material for using triads in solos
- Help you make strong Jazz lines with triads
- Show you how to find several triads for Jazz chords
This first part of the lesson is a set of exercises to help you get started seeing the triads in scales and on the neck plus develop your ability to play them, which you, of course, need to get into your playing.
